Sakuraquo started during quarantine times in 2020, when I found my old pearl collection. This old collection got me to produce necklace after necklace. After I talked to a friend of mine about my collection of necklaces which got out of hand, we decided to start a foundation project together, we looked of a lot of organizations and ended up with plan‘s female genital mutilation foundation.
For selling the necklaces, we made an Instagram page (@sakuraquo), wich worked very well! We could raise a lot of money for the women affected.
